International music festival born in 1978, now shared between Turin and Milan. Baroque opera and medieval music, masters of contemporary music and jazz talents animate a programme that offers daytime and nighttime concerts, some with paid admission, some free.

Seventh Salone del Gusto – Terra Madre
Turin, 23 – 27 October. Lingotto e Oval.
Slow Food’s marquee event, a showcase for gastronomic excellence, big-name chefs, and workshops that turn out delicacies from all over the world. And concomitantly, the third edition of Terra Madre, a springboard for local micro-economies and delights from the five continents looking to find outlets on new markets.

An original project promoted by the Turin Chamber of Commerce and caried out in collaboration with Turismo Torino e Provincia. Factories and workshops of elite Piedmont industries and agri-food producers open up their doors to illustrate the various phases of production of bread and grissini, coffee and chocolate, hard candies, sweets and vermouth. The guided tours will rotate visits to Caffarel, Caffè Vergnano, Galup, Lavazza, Martini & Rossi, Pastiglie Leone, Giugiaro, Bertone and many others.
